- Storage Duration: 2 years after your last login (if no transactions occur); up to 10 years for accounts with transaction histories to satisfy financial reporting standards.
C. 3D Artists, Designers, & Asset Authors (Sellers)
If you utilize Mudmesh as a vendor to host, distribute, or sell your 3D assets, we collect data to manage the multi-vendor pipeline, enforce quality audits, and disburse payouts.
- Account Data: Username, professional profile details, creator portfolio links, and email address.
- Verification & Payout Data: Legal first and last name, date of birth, government-issued identification number (NIN, License, etc.), physical address, tax residency status, and bank account details.
- Audit Data: Metadata regarding uploaded files, topology/geometry compliance logs, and validation metrics (poly-count, texture mapping, rigging properties, or BIM metadata).
- Storage Duration: 10 years following the last financial transaction or contract termination to meet regulatory and audit obligations.
PROFILING & ASSET OPTIMIZATION
To deliver a high-fidelity experience tailored to different creative workflows, Mudmesh employs data categorization:
User Profiles: We segment accounts based on professional orientation (e.g., Game Development, VFX/Cinematics, or Architecture).
Technical Tailoring: We track historical interactions with specific 3D file formats and software standards (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, Maya, Revit) to prioritize search rankings and recommend highly compatible assets.
You may adjust your industry preferences and asset filters directly within your account settings at any time.
DATA SHARING AND RECEIVERS

Multi-Vendor Transparency: Sellers receive the buyer’s generalized country of residence for accurate tax and royalty calculation.
Payment Infrastructure: Financial details are shared strictly with certified gateways for collections and payouts.
Regulatory Compliance: We report financial data to tax administration bodies (such as FIRS) as required by law.
